The Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office employs 138 staffers – 58 assistant state’s attorneys and 80 administrative assistants and support staff. The State’s Attorney is elected by the citizens of Kane County.
What we do
The State’s Attorney’s Office is mandated by the Illinois Constitution to represent the people of Illinois in the prosecution of criminal cases and to represent county government and state officials within Kane County in civil matters.
